Will Direct Line suspend my car insurance if I am without a car?
If you are without a vehicle but intend to replace it in the near future, we could suspend your policy at your request. However if you are without a vehicle for a longer period then we would suggest cancelling your policy with us.
Driving other car extension does not apply whilst your policy is suspended.
